In Matthew 27:50-53 the scriptures show the happenings
during the time of the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
v52-53 And the graves were opened; and many
bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after
his resurrection, and went in to the holy city, and appeared unto many.
So we see and know that the first resurrection took
place.
Then the Holy Spirit took me to John 11:22-27 which is the
conversation between Martha and Jesus about Lazarus being
raised. Jesus was telling her that HE was the Resurrection,
and the Life. But let’s focus on what Martha says concerning
when the Last Day would take place....
John 11:22-27 v24 Martha saith unto him, I know
that he shall rise again in the resurrection at
the last day.
Jesus was telling Martha "I am the Resurrection
and the Life..." now is that last day, that you are expecting. Jesus
told her at the grave side to just believe what I told you and you will
see the Glory of God (John 11:40). The last day had come and they were
in it with the Lord! Wow!
So by the Holy Spirit’s revealing of truth in Christ Jesus,
we see here, that the “last day” that they were talking of and expecting,
happened, in that generation, just as Jesus said it would...”in this
generation” meaning them, not us. Read Matthew 23:34-36, Matthew 24:21, Matthew
24:34, Matthew 26:64, Mark 14:62, Mark 8:38 and 9:1, and many more.
Jesus Christ is the last Adam and the 2nd Man, the
fulfilling of the old and bringing in of the new day.
To those that have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit of the
Lord is saying.
Jesus was telling Martha (paraphrasing) "I am the
Resurrection and this is the last day, that you are expecting." Today
is that Day, Jesus was telling her.
John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection,
and the life:: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die, Believest thou this?
v27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou are
the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
Same for today, for those that Hear Jesus and behold Him in
His Glory! We too are made alive and free from sin and death and the
devil and works of the devil, and curses and judgment and wrath of God.
All through the Lamb of God who is now alive for ever more, and makes us also
raised to life with Him by the same Glory of Father God. We Enter In With Him
into His Kingdom. But it is a process and step by step in faith and glory,
faith and glory.
This is only one of many scriptures that confirm that the
Last Days were during that generation. (John 6:39-40, 1Pet
1:20). Please read the others and may the Holy Spirit give you
understanding and open your eyes and ears too. Luke 24:27, 44)
So what now? John 1:12 -14 But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born,
not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of
God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and
we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
Be born again of His Spirit and Word. Then Grow
Up into Christ by the Holy Spirit washing and regenerating you....Read
Ephesians 4:11-16, and many more. And learning of the Lord how to walk
With Him in His Kingdom, where we are kings and priests with Him in the earth,
as it is in heaven.
