Don’t walk in the identity of sin.

You have been buried with Christ Jesus in His death; Raised with Christ Jesus in Righteousness; He took our sin identity on Himself and crucified it for us; now we share His Righteous Identity that is without sin and death.

So….Walk in the Identity of Christ

Have your Identity with Christ, not the sin.

2 Corinthians 5:17 old things passed away, behold, all things are become new

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Have your Identity with Christ, not the sin.  Jesus made you free, free indeed.  So walk with the One that is raised from the grave and death, and is without sin.  Submit to Jesus Christ, who is the head of the body, the church.

Fruit of the Holy Spirit

The fruit of the Spirit is produced in and through us to each other and the world.  At the least, this is the fruit that should be produced.  Only the fruit of our Souls that are redeemed of the Lord can produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Any fruit of the flesh will be burned.  Those that do the works of the flesh will not enter the kingdom of God.  We can read and understand that in Galatians 5:19-21:

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

So what is the works/fruits of the Holy Spirit?  Galatians 5:22-26 reveals them:

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

In Galatians 5:24-26 we are wise to take hold of further admonition to continue allow the Lord to work in us, cultivating His Garden, our Souls, to produce His fruit and leaves of the tree of Life.

Galatians 5:24-26 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

So continue to live in the Spirit of God, and walk, producing after Him what is pleasing in His sight.

Love…Joy…Peace…Longsuffering…Gentleness…Goodness…Faith…Meekness…Temperance…against such there is no law.  So don’t allow the working of the flesh in your soul.  If you discern its presence then ask the Holy Spirit for help.  Pray, speak forth in your heart to the Lord that you submit to the Lord only and resist “the devil” or whatever adversary is opposing the knowledge of Christ in you and you in Christ.  The Lord will cause the adversary to leave.  Just continue to submit to the Lord and resist the adversary, and it will flee.  Ask the Holy Spirit how to pray and listen for the answer. 

The renewing of your mind will cause this kind of attack to stop, because you will have allowed the Lord to produce HIS FRUIT in that area of your being and life.

Being born again is being born from above…born of His Word, His Spirit. Born and then growing up and learning of the Lord is a process.  As the Lord told me years ago, that He will only do this a little at a time, or it may be too overwhelming for you to handle. 

So from Victory to Victory….Glory to Glory…. You will Come Forth Shining as Pure Gold…in God’s Sight…His Son is Manifested in your Soul… and Produced Through You as a Sweet Savor of His Son in Every Place He causes us To Go.

In John 15 we read and can see by the Holy Spirit the process and purpose of His calling and choosing.

John 15:1-11

15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit , and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Take note of verse 8 and 16… the purpose is so that our Father God is glorified in the Son Jesus the Christ and Lamb of God.  The Redemptive work of the body and blood of Jesus…working in us.

When we submit to the Lord’s working in our souls, and allow Him to produce His Son in our souls and through our souls, THIS is GOD’s FRUIT that the world and each other can taste and see that THE LORD IS GOOD.  This is God’s will…to produce His Son in us and to us, so that we may Know Him and Fellowship with Him.  But also so we can be about our Father’s business and kingdom, doing good and being perfect even as the Father is perfect.

Matthew 5:48

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Colossians 1:27-29 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

So let the Vine bring forth, in and through our souls, manifesting His goodness towards all.  Being lead of the Holy Spirit in all things, so that our walk is in the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Christ Jesus, God’s firstfruit of His Spirit.  This is the Fruit that will remain.  This is the Fruit of the Spirit that will Bless All.

HOPE...Christ In You

Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Colossians 1:26-27 tells us that CHRIST in us is our HOPE.  The ANCHOR and ASSURANCE of our salvation, so that we may walk in faith and have victory in every situation, and mostly to come boldly to the throne of Grace and in communion with our God and Father daily, without fear.   Not imagination, but rather The REAL PRESENCE OF CHRIST JESUS in us and us in Him.  That Holy Spirit sanctifying us so that we can obtain the prize and glory of HIS More Abundant Blessed LIFE.  Walking in and by His Love and Grace, Faith and Hope. 

Even before we See the manifestation of the victory, we see Jesus, and Hope carries us on so that we Enter into the Glory of Jesus.  We are swallowed up in His Life and Godliness.  We are Overcomers because Jesus has already overcome the world and has gone before us to destroy the devil and its works.

Today we declare this Victory, and declare His Righteousness in every place.  His Government abounding.  But even if we can’t “see” the victory yet, we by hope and faith and grace walk on anchored in His love. 

CHRIST IN US is OUR ANCHOR……Our Assurance to Obtain His Glory…  This HOPE is our Confidence that what He has Purposed for us, He Will Accomplish it, and we obtain it.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Colossians 1:12-25

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

HOPE is our confidence.  Christ Jesus In Us is our assurance and hope.  He is able to sustain us, and bring us to the fullness of what the Father has purposed for us, in Himself.
